Terms and conditions



Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as they affect your rights and liabilities.



N.B. We do not deliver outside of the UK

The main pictures are an example of what you are purchasing, and any additional photos may show the plant at maturity, so you can see what the plant will eventually resemble. All the pictures on this website are of our own plants or those we are selling. Therefore we are not always able to show plants at different stages, maturity or in flower. Always refer to the description for exactly what you are purchasing, and be aware that there may be variations in size, colour and shape depending on the time of year. The description will inform you of which pot size the plant for sale is growing in. If you would like to see exact pictures of the plant you are interested in purchasing, then please contact us and we will be happy to help. 
Please note: the care requirements / hardiness ratings given in the plant's description are based on our own experiences with each plant, in our location and micro climates / various areas within our own garden. We would therefore advise you to further research the plant's requirements for your own location.


Shipping and Delivery

We generally use Royal Mail and ParcelForce, but may also use other delivery services from time to time.

Standard shipping is £7.50 for 24 hour tracked, which means your order should arrive the next day. However, we cannot guarantee your order will arrive within the allocated time specified by Royal Mail/ParcelForce/alternative courier. We aim to post your plant[s] within 2 days of you placing your order, Monday-Thursday, so your order will not be held up in the depot over the weekend. In the event of high volumes of orders, there may be a delay to your order being dispatched. 

Plants such as agaves and succulents will be shipped at any point during the week/end, as they fare better, for longer, in transit than many other plants. 

We also offer a collection service, if preferred, so please contact us to arrange a suitable date and time. Upon pickup you will be asked to provide ID and the details we have provided you with.

If you have a preference for a dispatch date then please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request. This does not mean your order will necessarily arrive on a specific date. If you order before a Bank Holiday or Christmas, for example, we will ship after this date/period to ensure your plant/s are not held up in the depot.

If you wish to make changes to your order then please contact us via e-mail as soon as possible. Once your order has been dispatched we cannot make changes to your order.

Please ensure all of your details provided, when placing an order, are correct. We cannot be held liable if details are entered incorrectly.

Due to UK plant passport regulations it is necessary for us to keep records of your house number or name and postcode for 3 years, for traceability purposes. We also keep postal receipts / records of your full name and address, for a maximum of 2 months, so we are able to track your package and retain proof of postage in case of any problems with your order.

Returns and Refunds

Once your plant(s) have been dispatched we are no longer responsible for their care. If they arrive to you damaged then please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, along with photographic evidence of any damage to both the plant(s) and box, so we can raise a claim with the courier service. Only then can we provide you with a part / full refund or replacement as necessary.

If you wish to return any items this must be done within 14 days. You, as the buyer, are responsible for paying the return P&P. We will issue a full refund of the plant[s], once we have received the plant[s], which must be returned to us in a good, healthy condition. Any re-potting or alterations to the plant will not warrant a refund.

Cancellation of an order

If you wish to cancel an order please note that charges will be applied to your refund. 

When you place an order, we incur processing charges of 2.5% + 20p per order, which is non-refundable if you choose to cancel.
