A hybrid of agave x mangave. Slender, green succulent leaves with deep burgundy splotches. Leaves darken as they mature. The spines on the leaf margins are certainly much less vicious than those of agaves.
Care requirements: Grow in full sun or partial shade. Provide a free draining soil and keep moist during the growing season. Feed with a suitable succulent feed.
Half hardy - may be hardy in milder areas if kept dry, but advisable to keep above 0c. Can be easily overwintered indoors in a cool room.
